I got pissed when I saw my last HSBC Bill.
There was a Mabuhay Miles membership fee of P500. What the?! The miles for every credit card purchase — this should be a free add-on, and that was precisely the reason I got an HSBC mabuhay miles card. But they charge a fee, so what’s the point in keeping the card?
I was also charged an annual fee for a secondary card that was NEVER activated. In fact, I specifically asked HSBC to permanently terminate that secondary card.
So I just killed my HSBC card. It saves me the trouble, simplifies my life. I will no longer have to go through so many password entries (there was a recent security upgrade again that required me to login a couple more times).
Buti nalang it’s at least been almost hassle-free terminating my account with the help of a manager named Jackie.

I also killed mine years ago. I’m happy with BPI and Citibank credit cards.
hey DX randy!
Honga, eh. I stick to my single BPI credit card. nothing more.
I use a couple of debit cards for finance management … this debit card for araw-araw gastusin, another debit card for my travel fund ….

Oo nga kamrumaldumal yang HSBC Card…they always charge you with everything they can…penalties for not paying what you shoud’nt pay n d first place!!!…tapos ssbihin syu computer generated na kasi kaya na icharge..fuck!! sna yung computer na lang pinakausap nila sa akin baka nagkaintindihan pa kami…
Yang HSBC style lng nila yung computer generated fees na yan…VICTIM din ako..wahahaha…I destroyed the card immediately after paying hehehe di kc ako mandurugas kaya binayaran ko n rin para matapos na at bka pa kasi umabot sa million bayaran ko sa computer generated nila hehehe…
Yung makakabasa nito wag nyu na balakin magka HSBC card..kahit anong promo pa sbihin sa inyu…Once you have it prepare ka ng ma “computer generated penalties”…Good LUCK AMIGOS!!!
well, i do have my own hsbc card. i definitely know how to use the card. never experienced hassles with them.
you should start reading and understanding your credit card agreement before using the card. you can’t blame the people in HSBC when they’re doing their job. it’s your responsible to know about the agreement. i think they’re saying it’s computer generated because the information are all computerized. they provide you with what’s on their screen. sorry for you people
