How I found Pag-ibig sa Mall (and other services too!) [Video]

by Ka Edong on July 11, 2012

I was walking along Robinson’s Galleria some time ago, going along my errands. Then when I went round one corner, something caught my eye! I could feel my heart pound with excitement. I was attracted to something. And there were more people before me who were lined up for it.  What was it? I looked more closely. And there it was, right before me: Pag-ibig!

Alas, Pag-ibig was … mailap (ano ba Ingles ng mailap?). Noooo, not “my lap”! Mailap … like … (i’m tongue-tied! hahaha!). Pag-ibig was on lunch break!

I’m always excited to see government services developing and reaching out to the citizens. That’s why I like sharing some of my e-Governance discoveries.

LIngkod Pinoy Robinsons Galleria: Pag-ibig, GSIS, DFA, SSS, Philhealth and other government services

I was at Robinson’s Galleria some time ago. I stumbled upon the Lingkod Pinoy center. It features government service desks of Pag-ibig, GSIS (GW@PS Kiosk) SSS, DFA (Passport renewal), and PhilHealth.

Here’s a walkthrough of the center:

I like that the malls are opening up to Government Services. I also like that the Government has been reaching out to the citizens, where our people are: at the mall! It’s a win for everybody!

I’ll be featuring more videos of Lingkod Pinoy services in the coming days. Abangan!

Have you seen other government services innovations? Like government services at the malls, or government use of technology (kiosks, payment machines, etc.) Tell me about your discoveries! Write a comment below 😉 .
