Nokia should have a bigger recycle bin with gimmiks! people will look at it as trash instead of the recycling bin.

They should design it that will really encourage everyone to support the cause.

Nokia be CREATIVE!

Wooooah. My eyes enlarged as I saw these photos. It shows how the ignorance of a person can lead to the ignorance of all. Maybe Nokia should put all capitalized words "CELLPHONES, BATTERIES AND CHARGERS ONLY!" on that Recycling bin.

Hahaha! Well, rather creative of Nokia to come up with this way of recycling electronic waste.

However, it seems the strategy would not work that well here in the country as demonstrated by the bin in Market! Market! It just goes to show how we as a society view or value technology and how it affects our environment.

What Nokia should do is offer some sort of "buy-your-old-phone-charger" scheme at its Nokia stores. It would avoid the bins becoming trash bins, it would encourage people to properly dispose of their old phones and it gives an incentive to do so which would help them acquire a new unit.

I just don't know how this would affect the second-hand/trade-in industry that's become a common feature in the country.

Ah the wonders of micro-economics!
