“Lo bat n b u?” Hahaha! Isn’t it so catchy! 
There’s this bright yellow gadget the size of a mailbox in selected Ministop convenience stores. It’s a cellphone charger vending machine. It accepts P5 coins and will charge most any cellphone for 10 minutes. It can also charge PSP’s and iPods.
Kewl gadget they have here. Locally made and proud of it! Pinoy ito!

you beat me to this story. shucks. i was meaning to write something about these machines ever since i encountered the “low bat n b u” situation a few weeks back.
you know you don’t have to insert P5 coins to start the phone charging (at least that’s what happened when i tried this out).
i took the appropriate charging receptacle, plugged in my cellphone and voila it’s charging even though i still have my P5 in my hand.
on another note, there’s no coin return or something like that feature on this charger.
