Cignal Digital TV is the latest satellite TV service by Mediascape, Inc. (http://www.mediascape.com.ph), same company that delivers myTV (TV in you mobile phone).

First impressions
Digital TV at P390 per month? Not bad, compared to around P500 for cable TV.
Uptake of the service will depend on a couple of factors: Quality, Delivery, Price (QDP).
I don’t know yet about the Q and the D, but I do have some details about the service offering and the Price. I can imagine that there’ll be a huge queue for installations, especially with the huge satellite dish that has to be installed accurately facing a specific compass direction.
The service is currently delivering plain-definition TV. By June 2009, high-definition TV (HDTV) will be available.

if you go in the middle east, most household owns a Satellite TV unit in there. :;;
The one time set up too high. They should do it for free. Its really difficult to set up the dish if you do not know how. Sometimes the problem is that the server itself is not working, therefore, set up cannot take place. Better apply for cable tv and have 70 plus channels although it is more costly. But you do not have those problems as with satellite dish and also there is no set up fees= P5, 500

mas mabili po yung gsat sa manila ka c may live karera at jai alai.at 200 lang ang monthly.ang dami po sa raon legal po ito dahil destiny cable po ang may ari.30 channels po ito.4,200 lang po at may free 6 months subs ka na.san ka pa?
Corrupt din pala itong mga ito, Wala rin pala sinabi ang cignal… pakage fee pti repair mahal singil konti pa channel… pa2putol ko sna cable ko pra paltan nito, di din pala maganda… baka pti channel sa boxing di rin free bka din may bayad… talo pa ito ng internet tv sa pc or anthena…

Pwde ba sa loob ng bahay na lang ang satelite disk kasi maraming puno ng saging samin baka matumbahan and masira… and may technician ba namag iinstal dyan or pwede sariling sikap na lang follow ko na lang instruction im good at that..

dalawang araw ng walang signal ang cignal tv ko, ang nakalagay sa screen – Please insert your viewing card. Please do not remove it, unless advised to do so. satellite tv has got to be one of the best inventions that we humans enjoy, –`
why is it our account number containing 5 digits only while other contain 6 digits.. if we want to load our cignal it is invalid because its only 5 digits..
For me Cignal have good picture quality..
Tanong ko lang po, saan pwede mag pa book ng ppv saang outlet? for Paquiao/Mosley fight. ang plan ko po is 390.00 ( prepaid) kaya lang ka pa load ko lang kanina 9:10am ng 390.oo ma activate kaya bago mag lingo, sayang kasi kung mag bayad ako ng ppv tapos hindi ma activate sayang….
bakit ganon apaka tagal ma activate ng channels ng cignal namin…

Madaya cignal since umulan kagabi dahil sa bagyong bebeng nawala signal ng cignal cable tapos itinawag ko after daw 20 min meron na tapos naka subscribe kami sa PPV ni Pacquiao na 600+ kasama ang tax ang malupit dun nde namin napanood ang ppv tapos nireklamo ko 5x bakit wala pa din cignal nde namin mapapanood ang ppv ni pacman ang sagot nila pasensya po sir act of nature kailangan pa din daw namin bayaran ang ppv kahit nde namin napanood, unfair kasi yun eh kasalanan ba namin umuulan at walang signal ang cignal cable nila kaya nde namin mapanood ang Pacman fight. Rizal area kami at simpleng ulan lang yun nde ambon lang ganun ba talaga sa signal wala ba kami laban ako alng ba may experience ng ganito ang pangit naman pag ganun 3 moths kami nag antay bago mainstall 2 weeks sa activation tapos april 25 pa lang nag subscribe na ko sa PPV nila nag invite ng mga friend tapos pag dating ng event palya ang cignal unfair babayaran ko pa. bakit ganun napahiya na ko sa guest ko magbabayad pa ko sa hindi ko kasalanan that unfair..Cignal ausin nyo naman service nyo. 3 years na kayo bulok pa din, kala nyo malinaw ang sd channel nyo para ka lang nag yoyoutube na 320 ang resolution . tsk

gudday po, ask ko lng sana bakit panay nawawala ung signal ko, sabi please remove and re-insert viewing card, anu po ung problema nun. please notify me kng anu po ung dapat gawin at bakit nagkakaganyan.

CIGNAL service is a pure dissapointment! I regret subscribing to its service. You can only enjoy the service whenever its sunny otherwise no signal! Worse, Mediascape has the gall to collect monthly advance payments from its subscribers…what a greedy company this is!
people learn from my mistake sa pag subscribe sa CIGNAL TV!!!
1. always know if there is a local satellite office of the company your subscribing too, like smart, globe and skycable. coz get this CIGNAL TV does not have one!!!! even the people that do the connection does not know where is the head office.
2. Don’t believe in their promises. coz their satellite tv sucks!!! bigla na lang nag-mute ang sounds or nag-freeze ang pictures pero may sounds…. you will think your tv has the problem but it’s their dumb connection.
3. konting ulan lang nawawala ang signal!!!
4. they have the worst ever customer service. biruin mo sabihan akong CONFIDENTIAL daw ang head office nila!!!! meron bang ganun????? san ka magrereklamo kung ayaw mong kausapin ang mga very incompetent na mga customer service staff nila!!!! and is it legal!!!!
word to the wise. DON’T SUBSCRIBE AT CIGNAL TV!!!!

100% Clear po ang CignalTv dito sa Imus,Cavite
I am a postpaid subscriber with multiple set up box and 1290 plan, I get excellent signal on all channels except channel 60 which occasionally have reception interruption. Other than that I am very satisfied with service quality.
Don’t ever try Cignal. It will be your worst nightmare. They are fast when de-activating your account, you will have time-without-service that you can never refund at all, and worst, when you pay for your re-activation, it will take months!!!
And worst service ever!
BEST quality picture, LOW quality remote, POOR customer service: may hotline nga pero pag tinawagan mo kung saan saan kang number papatawagin ulit, napaka inconvenient. Pwede naman sana sa hotline ka mag report ng problem or need mo then kayo na mag coordinate kung saan dealer dapat babagsak yung report diba? Regarding de-activation, hindi totoo na mabilis sila mag de-activate. every 3 months ako nag babayad ng bill di ko pa na-experience maputulan.
bkit po tinanggal ung free channel nyo nakakadismaya nman
