Smart Bro Quickfix Internet Connection Diagnosis

Hi this is Edwin otherwise known as Ka Edong on technobiography.

In this podcast, I’m going to talk about Smart Bro Quickfix.

Smart Bro Quickfix is an application that can be downloaded at the smart website; it’s a diagnostic application that you run when you’re having problems with your Smart Bro connection. It advertises a one button diagnosis so you will be able to check the internet connection of your Smart Bro. You’ll be able to check things like:

  • Latency
  • Trace route
  • Ping
  • Speed test

Smart Bro Quickfix

It also has the announcement and feedback modules so that you can communicate more easily with Smart Bro technical support. It also has some announcements where smart bro will be announcing new features, promos or bill payments schedule.




I’m downloading Smart Bro Quickfix right now. I haven’t been having any problems with SmartBro so I haven’t tried Quickfix but I like the idea. It’s a good idea for Smartbro to come up with this; it’s just a matter of whether it works and whether it works for the customers.

But it’s a good idea, it helps Smart Bro lessen the burden on all the many calls I’m sure they get from their customers. It’s also good for the customers -it lessens the stress of having to figure out what the problem is with the Smart Bro connection.

putang ina nyo smartbro, magsara na kayo. lagi na lng kayong congested! sa dami ng subscriber ninyo hindi nyo man lng magawan ng paraan ung congestion! sayang ung binabayad namin eh, ginagawa nyo lng kaming tanga. nagbabayad kami para sa 1 minutong ok na connection at maghapon putang inang “REQUEST TIMED OUT”

san ba maganda magreklamo tungkol sa smartbro connection? sa makabasa man nito post na lng d2, wla ring kwenta ung CS nila.

Putang ina’ bakit ganyan connection ko 3 months ng hindi stable ang connection ko putol pitol di tuloy ako makapag online ng maayos… walang kwenta…. Nagbabayad ka sa wala…!!! ayaw namang pumunta ng mga gumagawa nyo kailangan daw madami daw nagrereklamo eh,, ako lang naman yung may sira ang connection paano yun? habang buhay ganito connection ko.. mga putang ina nyo”

hello.. im using smart bro modem and i avail of their 5days unli browsing twice or thrice a month. im in a place where 3G(HSDPA) is available (im in ILigan, mindanao).. one thing i observe is when you are in a P10/30mins. scheme,, VERY POOR connection will greet you HAPPILY! but when you are in an unlimited thingy, your connection accelerates,, i remember sometime my connection goes up to 1.9mbps (using usb xtension cord).. im really relieved by this but sometimes in my unli period.. the connection is really SO POOR,, one friend suggested that i should buy USB extension cord and i did bought one… it did really work… But for now every 2 or 3 days bfore my unli expires… the modem ALWAYS DISCONNECT ON ITS OWN!… this is BULLSHIT! It really PISSED ME OFF!!! if somebody knows how to fix this CRAP>>> PLS post it here…

i mean smartbro prepaid gamit q..
ang ganda ng signal.. average rate q is 390kbps-800kbps… sometimes umaabot siya ng up to 1980kbps pero once lng un… d na babalik…. LOL!… MODEM DISCONNECTION by ITSelf lang problema ko… the signal is really worth paying for…

ang ganda ng signal.. average rate q is 390kbps-800kbps… sometimes umaabot siya ng up to 1980kbps pero once lng un… d na babalik…. LOL!… MODEM DISCONNECTION on its OWN lang problema ko… the signal is really worth paying for…

un linya ko smart bro..ayaw gumana sa dalawa ko pang unit……wala nmn problema un 2 ko pang unit..sa isang lang sya active koneksyon….asar na nga ako dito..hep nmn

how to fix the problem if the account reference number has been locked. actually na- install ko ang smartbro sa laptop ng ate ko but after that I unplug the cable at inilipat ko sa pc dahil un naman talaga ginagamit namin. nung nag install ulit ako ng smartbro sa pc lumabas ang smart portal then nakalagay ACCOUNT REFENCE NUMBER HAS BEEN LOCKED. Pakisend naman ng solution sa ymail ko SMART pls…yung laptop kasi ng ate ko e dinadala nya pag nag wowork xa gusto ko lang naman maibalik yung connection sa pc namin…kasi I’m a student and I really need internet connection pls.

la kwenta 2ng smartbro ganda ng advertice nio ah pero pag nagamit na hina naman ng connection umayos kaung mga nag papatakbo ng smart wag nio kami perahan gawin nio sebisyo nio sa amin wag palaki ng tiyan sana mabasa nio 2 tang ina……

3 months na akong sa smart bro nakakabit pro every daw po nawawalan ng internet almost 3 to 4 hours nawawalan di na ako makapag laro ng garena at mga online games help pls may location
calo bay laguna

user ako ng smartbro…pero grabe ang ang panget ng connection ng smart super bagal. nag avail p nmn ako ng 2 year plan smartbro internet. pero gusto ko na sanang i break yung contract dahil sa sobrang bagal ng connection..sana nmn my mgawa ang smartbro company sa mga ganitong problema. hindi n susulit ang mga binbayad ng mga users nyo…nakkinterrupt din sa pkikipag communication ng mga users. pls! lng npka super grabeng panget ng connection nyo.pls! do something sa problemang ito.

Good day. Pakicheck lang yong Smartbro connection (PLAN 999) namin don bahay kasi almost 1-week ng hindi kami nagchachat ng anak ko at dito pa naman ako abroad kaya hindi ko malakad don *1888 at hindi nya alam gagawin kasi nagpunta sila don office nyo NE Pacific branch pero tumawag daw don *1888 pero hindi naman daw nila makontak. So please lang pakicheck na lang. Thanks a lot.

Smartbro happens to be a very good provider before thats why i decided to extend another two years . now, im getting this connection problems every night for more than two weeks. i just signed a contract for extension and i regretted the day i decided to sign up and extend another two years. we need a good service from you smartbro cos we pay our bills on time.

gamit ko yung smart broadband. napaka bagal ng connection sana naman maging responsible ang smart ayusin nila service nila, hindi namin maiwasan uminit ang ulo dahil nagbabayad kami tapos MABAGAL at UNRELIABLE ang connection. Iwasan sna ng smart yung mga DUMB answers pagtumatawag tayo kailangan namin REAL SOLUTION…

Putang inang smart bro yan walang kwenta paputol putol. ung mga balak magpakabit neto wag niyo na balakin. Maiinis lang kayo araw araw :)
