I wait for Smart WiFi … and while I wait, this is what I do …
Day 8, Friday:
I called the hotline to find out if my request for a Sunday installation would be given to me.
I was put on hold by Lani for around 2 minutes.
When she got back, Lani tells me that they are undergoing “System Enhancements” which makes my account not accessible at this time.
She asked me to call back after 1 hour.
Funny, that term “System Enhancements” is a generic term I read on the PTB forums – a term that can be used as an excuse for almost anything that the customer care representative could not provide to the customer.
So much for customer “care”.
I’m still keeping my expectations low. I’ll just be pleasantly surprised if they come on Sunday to install. We’ll see …
Day 9, Saturday:
I call again. This time, we’ve got a positive response! They say the installer is coming to town tomorrow (Sunday). Let’s see …

My general advise: Wherever you plan to get your Internet connection , ask your neighbors what connection they have, and ask them the quality of the connection and service.
If your neighbors don’t get good Smart WiFi signal/service, chances are you won’t get it either. At least you’re forewarned.
